Outside Inspection

As I approach my vehicle it is not leaning left right front or back, meaning there are no load shifts suspension issues or flat tires.
As I look under my vehicle there are no visible leaks.
At the top of my truck I have 5 amber lenses not cracked broken or missing.
The three in the middle are identification and the two on the outside are clearance.
In front of my truck I have two headlights clear in color not cracked damaged broken or missing they have two functions high and low beam.
On the side I have two amber lenses not cracked damaged broken or missing they have three functions running turning and emergency. I will now lift my hood.
Visual overview of all my hoses and wires. My hoses are properly mounted and secured and have no audible leaks and my wire are secured and no cuts frayed or corrosion.
My coolant reservoir is properly mounted and secure not cracked broken damaged or leaking its cap is properly secured not broken or leaking and hoses are not leaking and it’s filled to proper level.
My power steering reservoir is properly mounted and secured not cracked damaged broken or leaking its hoses are secured and not leaking and it’s filled to proper level.
My oil dipstick is properly mounted to check the levels I will pull it out wipe out it back in and pull it out again to make sure it’s full if not I will add a gallon at a time.
My frame is properly mounted and secure all nuts and bolts are in place and it has no illegal welding.
My gear box is properly mounted and secured all nuts and bolts are in place it’s not broken damaged and not leaking it’s hoses are secured and not leaking.
My front and rear leaf spring hangers are properly mounted and secured all nuts and bolts are in place and are properly greased,
my main leaf spring is properly mounted and it has no shifting or stepping.
My U bolts are properly mounted and secure all nuts in place
My hydraulic shock absorber is properly mounted and secured top and bottom nuts are in place and rubber bushings are not dry rotted and it’s not leaking
My arms links rods joints and sockets are properly mounted and secure and properly greased my castle nut and cotter pin is secured and not missing
My brake drums,lining,pads and or disc are properly secured and free of any (DOG) dirt oil grease
My air line is not cut and or dry rotted and not leaking.
My ABS wire is not cut torn or frayed and have no corrosion
My steering tire is properly mounted and evenly worn. I will make sure that it no less than 4/32s of tread depth in each major groove And my drive and trailer tires have no less than 2/32s of tread depth in each major groove
My tires are not mismatched and evenly worn and free of any ABC abrasions bulging and cuts My rim is properly secured and free of any illegal welding. My lug nuts and studs are secured and not loose. Any sign of loose would be metal shavings or rust trails and they are round not oval My valve stem is straight not touching the rim and its cap is in place. I will use a air gauge to check it and make sure it is filled correctly to specifications.
On the side of my truck mirror and bracket is properly secured not broken and clean
My amber lens is not broken or damaged and not missing and have 3 functions running turning and emergency
My battery box is properly mounted and secured my batteries aren’t leaking and my wires are free of any cuts fraying and corrosion
My DEF tank is properly mounted and secured not damaged or leaking and cap is in place
My fuel tank is properly mounted and secured not damaged or leaking and cap is in place
My green electrical line is connected from my tractor to my trailer and not cut torn or frayed and plugged into my electric box have no corrosion My electrical box is properly mounted and secured all nuts and bolts are in place and the pins are straight and have no corrosion My wires are suspended above my catwalk and not tangled or crimpedW
My kingpin is properly mounted to my apron and free of welding. My 5th wheel skid plate is properly mounted and secured There is no light or space in between my 5th wheel and apron and it’s properly greased My release arm is secured and in locking position My sliding pins are secured and in locking position My 5th wheel platform is secured to my frame all nuts and bolts are in place And to check that my kingpin is secured I will go under my trailer and look to make sure my locking Jae is secured around the the kin
On the bottom door and bumper I have DOT reflective tape not missing
My trailer door is secure I will lift it to check that my ceiling and floor is damaged
On the bottom of trailer I have 4 red lenses properly mounted and secured not damaged broken or missing.
There 2 on outside have 3 functions running turning and emergency.
The 2 on the inside have 2 functions runt and braking
I will check the right side of my the same way I checked my left side
